Established in 2023 through the acquisition of Archimedis Healthcare, Crescent R&D is Crescent Pharmaceutical Group’s dedicated pharmaceutical research, development and technical services centre, based in Chennai, India. The facility forms a key part of the Group’s vertically integrated development strategy, providing the scientific expertise required to accelerate product launches and expand Crescent’s global portfolio.

Combining extensive formulation, analytical and technical transfer expertise with MHRA-approved manufacturing capability for solid dosage forms, Crescent R&D supports the complete product development lifecycle—from concept and formulation development through analytical method development, validation, technical transfer and commercial manufacture.

Working in close collaboration with Crescent Pharma’s UK regulatory, quality and manufacturing teams, Crescent R&D plays a pivotal role in strengthening the Group’s in-house development capabilities. The facility supports the continuous enhancement of existing products while driving the development of new pharmaceutical dossiers.
