Crescent loves a good fundraiser and we especially love it if it’s for a good cause!  This year we grouped together to raise money for Children in Need and with a grand total of £281.30 we can safely say that the day was a success.

There were two main events of the day with lots of games to raise money.

First we held Crescent’s very own “Great British Bake Off”. There are a few budding bakers roaming the Crescent offices and this was shown on the day, with lemon drizzle cakes, brownies, and beautifully iced cupcakes. All of the cakes were delicious but there could only be one winner! Well deserved, Angela with her homemade Pudsey bear cake!

Following the cakes, was the goody-jar auction. Giving feels good so this year we all gave a little of our time and got creative. We made home-made jars filled with treats. Some of the jars were filled with girly treats, others had candles and fluffy socks. We even had a few Christmas essentials in a couple of the jars. The winner for the most creative jar was our lovely Tanya with her pink themed pamper pot.

Finally, as always we had a few smaller (or not so small) games for the day. We had a 3ft bear to guess the weight of and also a Crescent employee disguised in a Pudsey onsie!

The day was great fun and all for a great cause.
